One afternoon in May of 2003, while attempting to commune with Spirit, I had a vision of a black, flowing shape. At first, I thought it was an ancient symbol and tried to find it in books and on the Internet. The following day, during meditation, I heard the meaning of the image. Eventually, I realized it was either something new or came from a very ancient time.
Over the next few years I continued to have similar visions. I received them while meditating, doing a healing session, working on a painting, or walking down a New York City street. I found that each Symbol carried some form of transformational energy which altered my state of being. I discovered the profound effects they had on me when I used them for meditation or healing and how they helped me open to whatever I needed to see or feel. By allowing myself to truly experience a Symbol, I was changed in some way. Sometimes I simply found peace by closing my eyes and picturing one of the images. I immersed myself in drawing them to express the energy that was coming through.
Working with the Symbols has helped me to live more and more in the presence and love of that Divine essence, what some call "God." I hope they will do the same for you...
